I'm QuickOem's make-up expert. The ingredient that we are talking about today is the brightening cum laude - arbutin - who has been in the shadow of hydrogen for many years. To be honest, it is a small number of brightening ingredient that can simultaneously "press the melanin generation" and "relatively moderate" but the type of confusion and concentration wrangling in the market is worth seeing by every brander who does brightening products.

What is it?

Arbutin (Arbutin), also known as bear fruit, is glucose glucose glucose extracted from bear leaves and citrus plants — commonly referred to as “hydrogen clover attached to glucose molecules”.

This is one of the most critical forms of the article and one of the most marketed places:

Level of evidence: A (different types of human research support). Many products are labeled "7% arbutin", which, if not written in alpha, is probably a cheap volume of beta-type piles — may be less active than a 2% alpha-type fine. This is the typical "ingredient position, i.e. concentration" reverse: it's useless to look at aggregates, it's useful to see the equivalent of activity.

Regulatory upper limit reference: Japan ' s Cosmetic Benchmark limits arbutin to less than 7 per cent; our Cosmetic Safety Technical Code does not have a separate limit but requires a security assessment.   • Arbutin + niacinamide (2-5 per cent): One inhibition, one blocking trans-shipment, brightening two-way, and strong evidence.
  • Arbutin + tranexamic acid (2-5%): co-ordinated with khromede, suitable for the line brightening at the age of maturity.
  • Arbutin + VCethyl ether (2-3%): In the early C-night A idea, VC is responsible for antioxidant brightening, arbutin is responsible for countering black.

Red flag taboo.

  • Hydrogen (benzophenol): Cosmetics are banned, and any "hydrogen-containing " claims to be in direct violation of the law.
  • Long-term coexistence with strong acid (pH<3.5): arbutin is vulnerable to hydrolysis in an acidic environment, and formulation buffer system is required.
  • Arbutin is not per se highly light-sensitive, but brightening is more "vulnerable" to ultraviolet light during the brightening period and must be sun protection during the day - the most expensive skins are under umbrella repair, rather than direct umbrella.
